The Spiritual Writings of Mark Christopher Brandt
In 2017, at the request of his spiritual director, Mark published his personal meditations on the Rosary, and the Stations of the Cross for use in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. These books have full ecclesiastical permission from the Diocese of Arlington, under the Code of Canon Law. A Year of Favor offers the very same reflections offered by Mark every Saturday for 14 years at his home parish of All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas, Virginia.
Proceeds from both of these books are used for reprinting and distributing these works throughout the world, in the hope of reaching many Catholics individually and many Catholic churches who foster Eucharistic adoration and the recitation of the daily rosary. Thank you for your support in this most beautiful and rewarding endeavor.
May God bless you!
A Year of Favor
Sixteen Meditational Rosaries for More Fruitful Visits with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament
Mark Christopher Brandt has been a Catholic in Good Standing at All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas, VA since he joined that parish in 1992. Mark’s first published book, entitled A Year of Favor, contains 16 different meditations on the mysteries of the rosary for year round use either in personal or group recitation in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. It was Mark’s hope to have the first publication of these reflections coincide with the 100th year anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. Ecclesiastical permission was granted in June 2017 and the first publication of this book occurred in October 2017. This book, like the rosary, is not just for Catholics but for anyone and everyone interested in deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ by means of this beautiful, fruitful, ancient Western way of meditation.
His Footsteps...Your Calvary
A Heroic but Practical Way of the Cross
Mark’s second published work, entitled His Footsteps...Your Calvary, was granted ecclesiastical permission at the same time as A Year of Favor. His Footsteps contains Mark’s personal reflections on the Stations of the Cross for deep meditation in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, as well as several shorter versions for making the traditional Way of the Cross using the stations in any church. The book also includes two versions for children, which will ultimately prove invaluable for parents, as they introduce their children to this beautiful and ancient Lenten practice.
